Want to add a signup or RSVP? Try google forms need to organize or share responses with a group? go to responses and select a response destination (can be made to point to google sheets)
Not necessary to buy a domain, but otherwise webpage link would be "http://sites.google.com/view/yourwebsitename"
You can also use a different domain broker, but that's what i used
Connect google domains to sites for www. or anything.yourdomain.com
Set up sub-domain forwarding to host so naked domains (i.e. without www. or anything) will forward properly
